webAI is building the first end-to-end private AI platform that enables enterprises and governments to deploy large-scale AI models on their own data while keeping intellectual property and sensitive information entirely private. The company is pioneering distributed AI infrastructure at the edge, bringing computation closer to data sources. As Senior Product Manager for the Developer Platform, you will own the complete developer experience surface—SDKs, APIs, self-serve onboarding, solution templates, and community support. Your users are initially internal teams shipping the first applications and standing up early customer deployments, with the platform designed to scale to external self-serve adoption. Key responsibilities include: - Own the developer platform end-to-end, from problem definition through shipping, including SDKs, APIs, developer experience, self-serve onboarding, and community support. - Engage internal and external developers directly to translate their needs and pain points into a coherent platform that unlocks key use cases and markets. - Drive high-stakes initiatives currently in flight to committed timelines and own the roadmap for subsequent work. - Design the path from first touch to production—self-serve setup, documentation, and templates that enable developers to go from zero to working build without hand-holding. - Make critical calls on SDK and API design alongside engineering, including surface shape, versioning, and ergonomics, with clear sight lines to what external developers will eventually build against. - Arbitrate competing requirements from adjacent teams into the platform roadmap. - Shape how developer community and support scale as the external audience grows. - Establish and evolve product patterns that guide platform design and extension, bringing engineering, applications, and leadership alignment. Required qualifications: - 6+ years in product management with a track record of owning technical products end-to-end from problem framing through ship. - Technical depth sufficient to hold your own in architecture discussions—you can reason credibly about API design, versioning, system boundaries, and their tradeoffs, and earn engineer trust. - Proven ability to engage developers and customers directly, surface real pain points, and translate them into product direction. - Track record of driving high-stakes, cross-functional initiatives to committed timelines with minimal oversight. - Comfort owning a broad surface across several partnering teams and arbitrating competing requirements without losing momentum. - Communication skills sharp enough to carry product rationale to any audience, from engineers to executives. Preferred experience includes building developer platforms, developer tools, SDKs, or APIs; an engineering background or hands-on technical experience; taking products from internal-only to external self-serve; self-serve or product-led motions and developer community experience; familiarity with distributed systems, edge computing, or decentralized architectures; and treating developer documentation as a product surface.
