Vanta is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Design Systems to own the product strategy and roadmap for how all teams build Vanta's user interface. This is the first dedicated Design Systems PM role at Vanta, offering high autonomy and cross-functional influence at the center of how the product looks, feels, and scales.
Key responsibilities include: owning the vision and roadmap for the frontend and design system; evolving the design system from a broad component library into smaller, composable building blocks with consistent APIs optimized for AI and LLM-driven experiences; driving accessibility and internationalization programs to completion; partnering with the AI team to enable agentic patterns; running go-to-market and adoption for design-system changes; leading quality triage as the craft team for the entire product; and partnering closely with engineering and design leads as a triad to prioritize high-impact work across a wide surface area.
Successful candidates will have 4-8+ years of product management experience with real ownership of a design system, frontend platform, or developer/design experience serving many teams. You should bring craft and taste at scale with a clear point of view on quality, a builder's mindset (hands-on with prototypes and demos), strong horizontal collaboration skills, systems thinking across components and infrastructure, and the ability to translate frontend investment into clear business value. You must be comfortable using AI to amplify your skills and demonstrate sound judgment in applying AI responsibly. US work authorization without sponsorship is required.
