Beamery is a jobs, skills and tasks data platform helping organizations navigate AI and automation challenges across talent lifecycle management. The company powers recruitment, mobility, upskilling, diversity, work architecture and workforce planning for forward-thinking enterprises. You will own Beamery's Data Foundry end-to-end—a proprietary data platform powering existing and emerging product lines including Talent CRM and Workforce Suite. The Data Foundry operates as both internal infrastructure and a customer-facing product sold as data-as-a-service through MCP/API channels. This is an emerging commercial opportunity. Key responsibilities include: **Ownership & Strategy**: Own the Data Foundry vision, strategy and roadmap, framing each initiative as a bet aligned to strategic objectives. Ensure alignment with Beamery's AI strategy, particularly the shift toward providing AI access through MCP and API. Decide what the platform provides as internal infrastructure versus customer-facing product. Make and defend build-versus-buy decisions across integrations, analytics, AI and taxonomy. **Discovery & Commercial Impact**: Validate what external customers want from data-as-a-service. Partner with Sales and Customer Success to drive adoption with clear GTM and enablement plans. Build the business case for Data Foundry as a new commercial channel, defining the standalone commercial model, quantifying customer value, and measuring success against value and usage metrics. **Partnership & Delivery**: Lead delivery of solutions that drive measurable customer and business outcomes. Agree and maintain data contracts with CRM and Workforce Suite product managers as internal customers. Prioritize across data science, data engineering and integrations engineering, translating needs into clear, deliverable plans. **Communication & Alignment**: Communicate transparently and create alignment between peers and leadership on priorities, trade-offs and progress. Manage customer and sales expectations through structured cadences. **Data Governance & Trust**: Own how workforce data is governed, secured and access-controlled as it is exposed through APIs and MCP, meeting enterprise privacy and compliance expectations. Ensure Data Foundry's model outputs are measurable and explainable so customers and internal teams can trust and act on results. **Requirements:** - Minimum 6 years experience in complex technical, data or AI products, with significant time in enterprise B2B SaaS - Strong grasp of data platforms, APIs and integrations; comfortable making architecture-adjacent decisions while collaborating with engineering and data science leads - Experience handling sensitive or regulated data, with clear understanding of governance, security and privacy - Analytical thinker who uses data to identify opportunities, confidently prioritize and measure success, balancing competing roadmaps and internal customer needs - Commercial fluency with 0-1 product stage experience; ability to shape early products with new go-to-market motions and connect product decisions to revenue, cost and customer ROI - Clear communicator who builds trust across product, data science and engineering; comfortable taking positions and explaining reasoning - Experience owning and delivering AI capabilities with keen interest in how AI is reshaping talent and workforce space; ability to give customers trusted, explainable access to their data
