Coupa is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the vision and execution of its Document Intelligence AI products. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of product innovation, AI/ML strategy, and enterprise workflow transformation, focused on automating how businesses transact through intelligent procurement and finance capabilities.
You will own the product strategy for Coupa's Document Intelligence AI, working to build intelligent, autonomous software that enhances procurement, sourcing, and spend workflows. You'll embed directly with Data Science Research and AI Platform product teams, collaborating daily to validate hypotheses and iterate rapidly. Working alongside high-caliber AI talent, you'll leverage proprietary research infrastructure including GPU clusters and large-memory machines to run experiments at real-world scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and executing the product vision for Document Intelligence AI products, with focus on intelligent automation in procurement and spend workflows
- Partnering closely with UX research and design teams to craft delightful, reliable AI experiences that are intuitive, context-aware, and action-oriented
- Translating cutting-edge AI technologies (LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines, agentic AI) into practical, user-friendly product features that drive measurable business outcomes
- Defining and monitoring product success metrics including model precision, response relevance, adoption rates, and user satisfaction
- Aligning and coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, GTM, customer success, product marketing) for successful launch and adoption
- Engaging with customers and customer-facing teams to gather deep insights and validate product direction
- Evangelizing complex AI technologies internally and externally
- Driving ruthless prioritization across organizational priorities to maximize impact
- Continuously improving digital product delivery through agile principles and iterative development
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML, enterprise automation, or managing AI/ML products
- Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, and agentic AI design
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and user-centric experiences
- Track record of collaborating with data science, ML engineering, and UX design teams to deliver AI-powered features at scale
- Strong product thinking with ability to identify high-impact use cases and prioritize AI capabilities that drive real business value
- Curiosity and adaptability to stay ahead in fast-evolving AI landscape, proactively learning about emerging models and design patterns
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to align internal teams and articulate product value to stakeholders
- Experience with agile principles, iterative development, and launching experimental or MVP AI capabilities
- Deep empathy for end users and passion for crafting intelligent, intuitive, trustworthy AI interactions
- Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to do hands-on work
- Experience working cross-functionally in SaaS organizations, structuring and analyzing data for actionable insights
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
