onX is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Content to own the content and data strategy for its Offroad vertical. You will translate customer jobs-to-be-done and market research into a clear point of view on what content (trails, POIs, user-generated conditions, land data, basemaps) is needed and how it should be structured and connected, in alignment with overall Offroad product strategy.
Key responsibilities include: owning Offroad's content and data strategy; researching and evaluating third-party data sources to expand coverage and unlock new capabilities; partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, and Content teams to prioritize the roadmap and define data model and UX requirements; championing the customer's end-to-end experience with content in the field; measuring and analyzing content's impact on customer behavior, conversion, and ROI; building and managing relationships with land management agencies (BLM, USFS, state and local managers) and other data providers; managing the Trail Guide Program (community-contributed content) through a direct report; representing Offroad's content and data roadmap to leadership; collecting and channeling market trends and customer feedback; and exploring opportunities to embed AI as a co-pilot in workflows.
You will report to the Head of Product for Offroad and serve as the strategic owner of Offroad's content and data model, acting as the connective tissue between customer research, third-party/land-manager data, and the Trail Guide contributor community.
