Rain is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the onchain surface—the blockchain infrastructure layer that underpins Rain's stablecoin and payments platform. This is a senior individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of onchain product strategy and execution.
You will own the complete roadmap for Rain's onchain product, including smart contracts, protocol design, chain and asset integrations, settlement flows, and underlying infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and executing the roadmap for onchain products: smart contracts, chain/asset coverage, settlement, and payments infrastructure
- Partnering deeply with engineering on protocol and infrastructure tradeoffs—contract architecture, upgradeability, collateralization logic, node reliability, gas strategy, and cross-chain messaging
- Making strategic decisions on which chains, assets, and stablecoins Rain supports, weighing liquidity, security, cost, partner demand, compliance, and regulatory exposure
- Driving the security posture for onchain operations: audits, monitoring, incident response, and operational guardrails for holding real value onchain
- Translating complex protocol and blockchain infrastructure into intuitive product surfaces and partner-facing documentation
- Gathering partner feedback, distilling priorities, and driving the team toward highest-leverage work
- Measuring adoption ruthlessly and iterating quickly
You'll work closely with engineering, security, compliance, legal, and directly with fintech, neobank, and institutional partners.
Required: 8-10 years of product management experience at product-led companies with strong engineering cultures. Deep, hands-on blockchain fluency—you've shipped onchain products and can reason independently about EVM and Solana mechanics, smart contract design, gas economics, bridging models, and onchain tradeoffs. Exceptional product judgment and analytical rigor. Senior, autonomous operator who defines problems, drives plans, and owns outcomes. Sound instincts on onchain security and risk. Strong technical fluency beyond blockchain (APIs, distributed systems, payments, ledger design). Excellent written and verbal communication.
Nice to have: stablecoin issuance experience, background at protocol/L1/L2/wallet/custodian companies, familiarity with non-EVM ecosystems, payments or cross-border fintech experience, regulatory knowledge, startup/hypergrowth experience.
