Datadog is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the Agent Builder ecosystem—a platform enabling customers, partners, and internal teams to build, deploy, and operate AI agents on Datadog's infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of Datadog's product portfolio, AI capabilities, and ecosystem strategy, positioning the company as the foundation for operational AI. You will define vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Agent Builder platform, owning core capabilities that allow customers and partners to create, customize, deploy, and manage AI agents. Key responsibilities include driving the extensibility model (integrations, tools, actions, APIs, SDKs, developer workflows), shaping how agents perform actions across Datadog and third-party systems, and partnering with AI, platform, infrastructure, and product teams to establish common agent architecture patterns. You'll develop deep expertise in emerging agent frameworks, orchestration patterns, evaluation techniques, governance models, and operational best practices. The role requires comfort discussing LLM architectures, tool-calling systems, and evaluation frameworks with engineering teams while engaging directly with customers to understand workflows and needs. Additionally, you will evangelize Datadog's operational AI vision through customer engagements, conferences, blogs, and thought leadership; collaborate with world-class product and engineering teams on roadmaps; and support Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Solutions teams in driving adoption and customer success. Ideal candidates have experience as a Product Manager at SaaS, infrastructure, platform, developer tools, or AI companies, with strong technical backgrounds enabling deep engagement on AI systems, APIs, platform architecture, distributed systems, and integration patterns. You should have experience building platforms or ecosystems enabling other developers or teams to create value, sharp product intuition for navigating ambiguity in fast-moving tech landscapes, and excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
