Auth0 (an Okta company) is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) team. You'll own the product strategy and roadmap for authentication factors including WebAuthn, Passkeys, Passwordless/OTP, and other MFA mechanisms that secure logins for thousands of customers and millions of daily users worldwide. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, design, and product marketing teams to define product direction, build actionable requirements, and deliver high-value authentication solutions. You'll become the subject matter expert for your product area, developing and testing product hypotheses in a lean, iterative way. Key responsibilities include: - Define and socialize product roadmaps that articulate strategy and direction - Build compelling business cases to support product delivery efforts - Prototype and validate early with customers using lightweight demos, proof-of-concepts, and interactive mockups (including light coding where appropriate) - Define and track KPIs and success metrics for your product area - Work with cross-functional partners in Product Marketing and field teams to enable feature launches and manage product lifecycle - Create assets to guide development work (framing documents, story maps, opportunity canvases) - Leverage AI tools throughout the product development cycle for research, writing, prototyping, and demo creation You'll need 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of successful delivery of technical enterprise products. Strong technical aptitude and fluency communicating with engineering teams and developer customers is essential. Functional experience in identity management, authentication factors, or security—particularly MFA mechanisms (TOTP, SMS OTP, push notifications, hardware security keys)—is required. Understanding of API and SDK design principles, including developer experience considerations, is critical. Preferred qualifications include hands-on technical background (prior software engineering, developer advocacy, or solutions engineering), familiarity with authentication standards (WebAuthn, FIDO2/Passkeys, OATH, OIDC, SAML), experience with cryptographic concepts relevant to authentication, practical experience analyzing product data using SQL or analytics tooling, and experience in agile/scrum environments.
