You'll join as a Senior Product Manager on a founding pod focused on building an AI system that learns from domain expert decision-making and improves measurably over time. This is not a conventional PM role—you're the founding partner embedded with AI and software engineers, owning the vision, strategy, and execution of a system designed to extract structured intelligence from real-world professional workflows.
The core challenge: design a system that identifies reliable patterns across many decisions and surfaces actionable knowledge without requiring users to change how they work. You'll need to balance technical depth with product intuition, working closely with insurance domain experts, engineers, and customers to define what "useful" actually means in this context.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining the product vision and strategy for the AI system
- Collaborating with engineers to translate domain expertise into product requirements
- Conducting research with insurance professionals to understand workflows and pain points
- Iterating on the system's ability to extract and surface decision patterns
- Owning metrics and success criteria that measure real-world impact
- Building cross-functional alignment between product, engineering, and domain experts
Vouch operates across San Francisco, Chicago, and New York. This role is based in Chicago with hybrid flexibility (minimum 3 days/week in office: Tuesday–Thursday). The company is known for transparency, values-driven culture, and a focus on client obsession and integrity.
