Truecaller is a global communication safety platform trusted by over 450 million monthly active users across 190+ countries. The company identifies 15+ billion calls daily and operates one of the largest in-app advertising platforms in its markets, reaching 400 million users.
This Senior Product Manager role owns the supply side of Truecaller's ads business—the inventory, placements, ad formats, and user-facing ad experience. You will drive the complete lifecycle from ad opportunity creation through rendering, viewing, and clicking. This is a high-ownership position that balances revenue generation with user experience quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the supply roadmap: develop inventory strategy, placements, and ad formats across surfaces and markets, with differentiation between India and international regions.
- Unlock new inventory: partner with core product teams to identify and build new ad placements while preserving product experience.
- Ensure ad experience quality: optimize rendering, viewability, latency, and click quality; systematically reduce unintended clicks while growing genuine engagement.
- Build signal foundation: define user and contextual signals, manage user cohorts and pricing, and represent signals to demand sources to increase inventory value.
- Own measurement and compliance: drive certifications (e.g., Open Measurement SDK), ensure privacy and regulatory compliance across all operating markets.
- Serve demand teams: act as supply counterpart to programmatic and direct demand teams, translating their needs into shipped capabilities.
You will work cross-functionally with core product, engineering, design, demand teams, and ad operations. The role requires driving outcomes through teams you don't directly manage.
Required experience: 4+ years in product management with meaningful time building ad products or monetization surfaces at consumer platforms or publishers with large advertising businesses. Must-have skills include deep understanding of ad formats, placements, and rendering; track record of improving monetization metrics (CTR, viewability, fill) while protecting user experience; publisher-side fluency with inventory packaging and pricing; experience with user signals and segmentation; and familiarity with privacy regulations and measurement standards. Programmatic ecosystem knowledge is a plus.
