NODA AI, a veteran-owned venture-backed company, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own mission planning and command-and-control products for autonomous unmanned systems. This is a highly technical, customer-facing individual contributor role at the intersection of mission planning, autonomy, and real-world defense operations. You will serve as the voice of the operator, working directly with warfighters, mission planners, and government stakeholders to understand operational workflows and translate insights into product direction. The role spans the full product lifecycle: discovery, prototyping, development, field deployment, and iteration. You'll define and evolve workflows for mission creation, course-of-action development, planning, tasking, coordination, visualization, feasibility validation, execution, monitoring, and dynamic re-planning across multi-domain autonomous systems. Key responsibilities include: facilitating product strategy and roadmap for mission planning software; translating mission needs into operationally relevant capabilities; defining workflows and user stories; driving the transition from one-off customer programs to scalable product capabilities; partnering closely with Engineering and Design through the full lifecycle; evaluating integration requirements with existing government systems and ground control stations; and participating directly in field exercises, demonstrations, and customer deployments. You will make complex product decisions involving interactions between planning software, autonomy, command and control, communications, networking, sensors, payloads, and platforms. Success requires deep user empathy, technical fluency, strong product judgment, and the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous problems. Ideal candidates have direct experience with mission planning systems such as JMPS, FalconView, PFPS, or comparable DoD products, and commercial ground control stations like QGroundControl. The role is based in Austin, TX with hybrid work (minimum 3 days/week on-site preferred) and travel of 10% or less. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance are required; sponsorship is available.
