Nabla is an AI-powered clinical documentation assistant used by 100,000+ clinicians across 130+ healthcare organizations. The company recently raised $70M in Series C funding and is building the next generation of clinical AI to streamline workflows and restore focus to patient care.
You will own the Dictation product squad end-to-end—a critical tool clinicians use multiple times daily. This role sits at the intersection of machine learning, user experience, and customer success. You'll work closely with ML, backend, and frontend engineers to transform model capabilities into a product that clinicians genuinely adopt and rely on. Success here means balancing model performance with interface design, latency, error recovery, and the dozens of small frictions that determine whether clinicians keep using the product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Dictation product, accountable for adoption and quality-of-life improvements
- Leading user-centric discovery through interviews, user feedback analysis, clinician shadowing, and usage data interpretation
- Working day-to-day with engineers to make trade-offs between quality, latency, cost, and time to market
- Partnering with Design to make complex technology feel intuitive, including edge cases and failure paths
- Supporting deployment with enterprise health systems, building relationships with key stakeholders
- Defining quality metrics and success criteria from model performance through adoption and retention
- Ruthlessly prioritizing between ambitious bets and incremental friction removal
This role requires genuine curiosity about how clinicians work. You will spend real time with users, including regular visits to US client sites, observing workflows and identifying where your product can save seconds that matter. The best ideas come from direct observation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product management experience in technical or engineering-heavy environments
- Experience working closely with ML teams on products where model quality drives user value; comfort discussing evaluation, quality metrics, and iteration loops with ML engineers
- Strong user empathy and appetite for diving deep into user workflows; track record of removing friction others had accepted as normal
- Excellent product judgment and UX sensibility; ability to identify high-value problems, define strategy, and ship improvements users notice
- Proven ability to collaborate with frontend, backend, and ML engineers and earn their credibility
- Strong analytical skills: define success metrics, read product data, combine qualitative and quantitative evidence
- Clear, structured communication; ability to explain trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfort in fast-moving environments with incomplete information, competing priorities, and high ownership
- Based in Paris office with regular travel to US client sites; full professional fluency in English required; French is a plus
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated/safety-critical industries
- Experience with speech, real-time, or latency-sensitive products
- Prior software engineering experience or ability to write scripts and reason about system logs, API schemas, data models
- Experience with B2B products used daily in demanding frontline workflows
- Experience building for the US market
