Blee is an AI-first marketing content compliance platform trusted by PayPal, NerdWallet, and Brex. Founded by an ex-Adobe marketing ops leader and former lawyer, the company is YC-backed and defining a new category across Fintech, Financial Services, CPG, Travel, and Life Sciences.
As Blee's first dedicated Product Manager, you will own product strategy and execution end-to-end: discovery, specification, delivery, launch, adoption, and iteration. You'll work daily with engineering, conduct weekly customer conversations, and partner closely with the Head of Product on roadmap and priorities.
Key responsibilities include managing product intake and backlog, breaking larger initiatives into shippable increments, and writing clear requirements and user stories that give engineers the context needed to build effectively. You'll run customer discovery across legal, compliance, marketing, and operations stakeholders, combining conversations with product usage data and feedback from Sales and Customer Success to identify problems worth solving.
A core challenge is building a cohesive platform where each feature serves the whole enterprise. You'll distinguish broadly valuable product opportunities from account-specific needs, turn recurring needs into reusable capabilities, and maintain consistent patterns across workflows. You'll also coordinate releases from development through launch, including documentation, enablement, customer communication, and adoption tracking.
You should be a strong writer who turns complicated problems into clear, actionable requirements. You're comfortable in the details—reproducing bugs, examining workflows, clarifying expected behavior. You're technically fluent enough to earn engineering trust and participate meaningfully in architecture discussions, while remaining credible with senior legal, compliance, and marketing stakeholders.
The role requires 3–7 years as a Product Manager with direct ownership of shipping B2B software for enterprise customers. You should have experience managing engineering backlogs, taking features from discovery through launch, and working in early-stage or fast-growing environments where product processes had to be created or improved. You use AI daily in your own work—drafting specs, synthesizing conversations, querying data, prototyping—and can point to specific things you no longer do by hand.
Based in San Francisco Bay Area or New York City, you'll work from the office two to three days per week and travel approximately 10% to meet customers in person. Bonus experience includes previous work as a lawyer, marketer, compliance professional, or other Blee user.
