Blee is an AI-first marketing content compliance platform trusted by PayPal, NerdWallet, and Brex. Founded by an ex-Adobe marketing ops leader and former lawyer, the company is defining a new category across Fintech, Financial Services, CPG, Travel, and Life Sciences.
As Blee's first dedicated Product Manager, you will own product development end-to-end: discovery, specification, delivery, launch, adoption, and iteration. You'll work daily with engineering, conduct customer discovery weekly, and partner closely with the Head of Product on strategic direction.
Key responsibilities include managing product intake and backlog, breaking larger initiatives into shippable increments, and writing clear requirements and user stories that give engineers the context needed to build effectively. You'll run weekly customer discovery sessions with legal, compliance, marketing, and operations stakeholders, synthesizing conversations with product usage data and feedback from Sales and Customer Success to identify high-impact problems.
A core challenge is building a cohesive platform where each feature serves the whole enterprise—Legal needs rigor and control, Marketing needs speed and creative freedom, Operations need continuity. You'll distinguish between broadly valuable platform capabilities and account-specific needs, turning recurring patterns into reusable solutions while avoiding unnecessary complexity.
You'll coordinate feature releases from development through launch, including documentation, enablement, customer communication, and adoption tracking. You'll bring customer insights, usage signals, and engineering context into roadmap and prioritization discussions, challenging assumptions and helping the team reach better decisions.
The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of direct PM experience shipping B2B software for enterprise customers, with a track record of managing engineering backlogs and creating or improving product processes in early-stage or fast-growing environments. You're a strong writer who can turn ambiguous problems into actionable requirements, comfortable diving into details (reproducing bugs, examining workflows, writing test cases), and technically fluent enough to earn engineering trust and participate in architecture discussions.
You use AI daily in your own work—drafting specs, synthesizing conversations, querying data, prototyping—and can articulate specific tasks you no longer do by hand. You're credible with both technical teams and senior stakeholders in legal, compliance, and marketing. Bonus experience includes prior work as a lawyer, marketer, compliance professional, or regulatory specialist.
Based in San Francisco or New York, you'll work from the office 2–3 days per week and travel approximately 10% to meet customers in person. The company values clarity, ownership, and shared responsibility, with quarterly off-sites and opportunities to collaborate across offices.
