As Senior Product Manager for the AI Platform at Sequencing, you will own the connected intelligence system that powers the company's AI-driven genomics and health products. This is a hands-on, AI-native product role where you'll translate customer and business needs into platform capabilities spanning data, memory, integrations, retrieval, agent orchestration, evaluation, observability, and reliability.
You will report to the Senior Director of AI & Emerging Technologies and work closely with Engineering, Bioinformatics, Product, Design, and Customer Success teams. Your responsibilities include owning the roadmap and PRDs for intelligence capabilities including memory, personalization, proactive guidance, integrations, retrieval, and agent orchestration. You'll establish clear system contracts across the data pipeline—from inputs through scientific processing, retrieval, model reasoning, orchestration, to product outputs.
Key ownership areas include: building a rapid prototype-to-decision loop that converts product intent into working agentic prototypes with explicit test criteria; implementing evaluation as a release gate combining deterministic checks, LLM-as-judge methods, human annotation, and scientific review; establishing platform observability around trace quality, latency, cost, and failure classification; driving cross-functional prioritization that connects customer signals to scalable capabilities; and ensuring smooth handoff from validated platform capabilities to polished member experiences.
You should have 7-10 years of product management experience with at least 2-3 years shipping production LLM or generative AI products to real users. You must have designed or shipped agentic systems involving tool use, orchestration, memory, retrieval, and evaluation loops. You can distinguish using AI from building reliable AI systems and explain the architecture, evaluation, and operating ownership behind systems you've shipped. You're comfortable prototyping, reading traces, and reasoning with engineers about model, data, and reliability tradeoffs. You turn ambiguous needs into clear interfaces and measurable requirements. You're rigorous about trust, uncertainty, privacy, and scientific review in health products. Helpful experience includes healthcare/genomics domain knowledge, consumer conversational products, or data/developer platform ownership. The role is fully remote with a home office stipend.
