Nexford University is building an AI-native university—not a traditional LMS with AI bolted on, but a platform where AI is core to the learner experience, engagement, and growth.
You'll own parts of the learner journey end-to-end: from how prospective students discover Nexford, through enrollment, through how they actually learn. Success is measured by learner retention and engagement, not feature velocity.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of B2C product experience (edtech, fintech, subscriptions, consumer SaaS, or mission-driven consumer products) with a proven track record of moving retention, engagement, or conversion metrics. You've shipped something with AI in the last 3–6 months—either at work or as a personal project—and you use AI tools daily. You understand the difference between a genuine use case and a gimmick.
You can hold technical conversations with engineers without translation, are comfortable going deep on systems, APIs, and model trade-offs, and have familiarity with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Supabase, and Vercel. You think in terms of retention, conversion, and engagement, and can articulate the impact of your work with concrete numbers.
You work fast and clean, with a bias toward simplicity over process. You raise problems early, move through ambiguity, and leave things better than you found them. Experience managing a team is expected. Edtech background is a plus but not required.
The role offers competitive base + bonus, generous holiday allowance, discounted access to Nexford programs, a culture where opinions are expected and heard, and real ownership from day one.
