Zynga, a global leader in interactive entertainment and label of Take-Two Interactive, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead ad monetization strategy across 50+ games. The company has delivered over 6 billion game downloads across 175+ countries, with a portfolio including FarmVille, Words With Friends, Zynga Poker, and many others.
In this role, you will own the ad technology SDK that powers monetization across Zynga's game portfolio. You'll lead experiments from design through analysis and rollout, optimizing supply and demand-side features that impact player ad experience and pricing. You'll support SDK distribution and updates across 50+ games through different studio build paths, execute product strategy by customizing game-side logic for ad loading and triggering, and identify optimization opportunities in core ad serving logic.
Key responsibilities include maintaining awareness of the evolving ad tech landscape (new formats, platform requirements, privacy changes), developing 0-1 systems including SDK upgrade automation, supporting live operations teams with technical expertise, and conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities.
You'll work closely with engineering teams, discuss technical trade-offs, and communicate complex ad tech concepts to non-technical stakeholders. The role requires balancing engagement with in-app advertising (IAA) and in-app purchases (IAP) monetization strategies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product management experience, with minimum 3 years focused on ad technology, monetization, or similar domains in mobile or gaming
- Strong understanding of mobile advertising ecosystem: ad mediation, ad networks, SDKs, DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, programmatic advertising
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; required experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams and discuss technical trade-offs
- Experience working on ad technology systems (buy-side DSP or sell-side SSP preferred)
- Experience in games or free-to-play mobile market
- Prior experience with ad platform integrations and third-party vendor management
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Economics, or related field
