WeTravel is building the operating system for the travel industry, empowering travel entrepreneurs to launch and scale their own businesses. The company has grown to serve 8,000 organizers managing over a million travelers across 150+ countries, processing $1B+ in annual travel experiences.
Team Supply is building the foundational layer that transforms how travel operators work together—replacing spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads, and manual processes with a connected network. The team is five engineers and a PM working on the earliest stages of WeTravel's roadmap: from single-player tools (trip design, pricing, sales) to multiplayer features (supplier networks, commission flows, booking marketplaces).
As a Senior Product Engineer, you'll lead features end-to-end: from user research and product design through architecture, implementation, deployment, and production monitoring. You'll partner closely with the product team to discover user problems and shape solutions, helping decide what's worth building, not just how to build it. You'll write high-quality, maintainable code across the full stack (TypeScript/React frontend, Ruby on Rails backend, Python microservices), ensure resilient, well-monitored applications, and mentor teammates.
This is a 0→1 startup opportunity within an established company with revenue and scale. The tech stack includes React, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, Python, Kubernetes, MongoDB, MySQL, Postgres, Snowflake, and major LLM providers. You'll work in a distributed team across Europe, with some colleagues in Amsterdam.
Required: 7+ years of full-stack software engineering with strong product ownership; hands-on React and TypeScript experience owning large frontend areas; solid backend experience in Python, Go, Java, .NET, Node, or Ruby; track record building and launching new products in startups/scale-ups and staying through growth; breadth across the stack and problem domains; experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture; production operations (monitoring, alerting, on-call); excellent communication in multicultural, distributed teams; project leadership and mentoring experience; familiarity with AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude, Codex).
Preferred: Ruby on Rails experience.
