Weave's User Infrastructure team builds the foundational systems that every other product depends on: authentication, identity, access control, and multi-location organization. As Senior Product Designer on this team, you will own the design of critical user-facing surfaces that thousands of dental, medical, and veterinary offices interact with daily. You will design end-to-end experiences for single sign-on and authentication, including setup flows, identity configuration, multi-factor authentication, and error/recovery states. You'll shape enterprise-level user management flows with SSO configuration, group mapping, and custom role management. A major part of your work involves designing how multi-location organizations are modeled in the platform—workspaces, organizational hierarchy, and account switching for practices ranging from two to hundreds of locations. As a platform designer, the patterns you create will be adopted by other product teams across Weave. You'll contribute to the Design System and ensure your work scales beyond your own roadmap. You'll work closely in a triad with a Product Manager and Engineering Manager who have deep domain expertise, reporting to a Product Design Manager who values your judgment and creates space for you to exercise it. Key responsibilities include: designing authentication and identity flows with attention to edge cases and error states; creating enterprise user management experiences; modeling multi-tenant organizational structures; building reusable platform patterns; partnering with product and engineering to define roadmap priorities; grounding decisions in customer research and product analytics (Pendo, Sigma); identifying cross-team dependencies early; and mentoring through critique and documentation. You'll be expected to talk with customers, explore analytics data, and use evidence to guide the team's direction. You'll notice how your work connects to other teams' work and help raise the quality of design across the organization through thoughtful critique and clear communication. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years designing software products, with meaningful experience on B2B or platform surfaces (admin, settings, identity, permissions) - Ability to walk through 2+ case studies demonstrating problem framing, end-to-end user flows, and interaction design—not just final screens - Proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, and prototyping - Skill designing complex, multi-step, cross-platform flows with careful consideration of edge, error, and empty states - Strong written and verbal communication with engineers, partners, and leadership PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience designing identity, access management, or multi-tenant products - Contributions to design systems that other teams relied on - Background in healthcare, dental, veterinary, or regulated industries - User interview and product analytics experience (Pendo, Sigma, Domo, or similar) - Comfort with ambiguity and ability to scope and sequence undefined problems - Experience as the sole designer on a team, bringing people along collaboratively - Willingness to share work-in-progress and seek early feedback - Empathy for small IT teams managing users across many locations
