Salary: CAD 133,100 - 208,600 / annual
Join Braze's Data Division as a Senior Product Designer to shape the future of how customers model, send, and manage data on the platform. The Data Division is responsible for all of Braze's data products, with a mission to help customers seamlessly model, send, and manage data needed to execute campaigns and Canvases across the entire engagement stack.
You will work on high-impact features spanning the user data model, custom attributes and events, data ingestion, and catalog data. Your responsibilities include:
- Define and design high-impact features and refine user experience for projects improving how customers integrate with and send information to Braze
- Design experiences enabling marketers to implement cross-channel digital experiences and launch customer engagement strategies without heavy engineering lift
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, product analysts, technical writers, engineers, and fellow designers to deliver solutions that make Braze easier and more enjoyable to use
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions, working directly with Braze customers to understand campaign creation workflows and identify opportunities to reduce complexity while increasing capability
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and detailed interaction specifications that communicate design intent to engineering teams, ensuring seamless implementation at enterprise scale
- Contribute to and evolve Braze's design system, establishing patterns and components that support consistent experiences across messaging and orchestration features
- Think systemically about how individual features connect across the broader Braze platform, designing solutions that work harmoniously with existing tools while preparing for future product evolution
- Present design concepts and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership to influence the roadmap and build alignment around user experience priorities

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product design experience with a strong foundation in designing complex digital products
- Demonstrated experience working within established design systems and understanding how to balance consistency with innovation when designing for enterprise software
- Systems mindset approach to design challenges, naturally thinking about how individual features connect to create cohesive user experiences
- Comfortable navigating technical complexity and collaborating with engineers to understand implementation constraints and possibilities
- Design process grounded in user research and evidence-based decision making
- Excel at cross-functional collaboration, building strong relationships with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers
- Strong craft skills across interaction design, visual design, and prototyping, with particular strength in creating detailed, thoughtful interfaces that handle complex information and workflows elegantly
- Organized and detail-oriented, maintaining comprehensive design documentation and ensuring smooth handoffs to engineering teams
- Portfolio showcasing experience designing for complex applications or workflow tools with clear examples of how design decisions improved user outcomes and business metrics
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience designing marketing automation, customer engagement, or campaign management tools
- Background in enterprise SaaS products, particularly those serving marketing or business operations teams
- Experience designing integration or data-mapping experiences for technical or semi-technical audiences
- Familiarity with how data flows between systems (APIs, webhooks, data pipelines) and comfort reading code or technical documentation
- Experience working in agile development environments with cross-functional product teams
- Strong fluency with AI tools for prototyping and exploring design concepts
