You will work closely with Growth, Product, Engineering, and founders on a shared, prioritized backlog that makes tradeoffs between core product and growth experiments explicit. Key responsibilities include: translating user needs and complex care workflows into clear journeys, information architecture, and polished interfaces; designing patient onboarding and care experiences with attention to clarity, trust, accessibility, and mobile usability; defining complete interaction states (loading, empty, error, permission, recovery); building a practical design system with reusable components; shipping production pull requests regularly in close partnership with engineering; bringing Legion's brand to life across web and creative; developing paid-creative concepts and experiment variants; using research, testing, analytics, and experiment results to identify friction; and connecting acquisition promises with product experience. You will work AI-natively throughout the design process, using v0, Claude Design, Figma AI, Cursor, and comparable tools for divergent exploration, interactive prototyping, implementation, and rapid iteration—not as occasional add-ons but as everyday tools. You'll be successful if you ship clear, useful, visually excellent experiences; improve usability, task completion, onboarding conversion, and adoption; create faster design-to-engineering cycles with fewer implementation gaps; deliver a steady cadence of thoughtful landing-page and creative experiments with explicit hypotheses; and earn trust as a partner who prioritizes well, explains tradeoffs clearly, and follows through on shipped results. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience or equivalent evidence of exceptional shipped work - Portfolio of shipped product work showing problem, personal contribution, alternatives, tradeoffs, interaction detail, and outcomes - Strong product-design depth and strong visual craft across typography, layout, brand, and web - Experience taking ambiguous problems from discovery through polished UI and production collaboration with engineers - Comfortable working directly in a codebase, using Git and pull requests, testing well-scoped changes, and incorporating engineering review - Demonstrated fluency with AI-native design and prototyping workflows (v0, Claude Design, Figma AI, Cursor, or comparable tools); must show how you have used these tools to materially improve speed, breadth, fidelity, or quality of shipped work - Website or landing-page work and ability to develop effective acquisition creative - Comfort using qualitative feedback and quantitative evidence without reducing every design decision to a single conversion metric - Clear writing, low ego, high ownership, and ability to balance speed with quality in early-stage team - Experience in healthcare or trust-sensitive consumer products is helpful; sound judgment and strong shipped work matter most
