Tennr is solving a critical healthcare operations problem: medical referrals get lost, delayed, or denied because the process is manual and overwhelmed. Tennr's platform (powered by RaeLM™) reads, extracts, and acts on patient information automatically, helping providers capture more referrals, reduce denials, and eliminate delays.
As Senior Product Designer, you will own design for Tennr's core work surfaces, starting with Validate and Workspace management, then expanding into Patient Hub as it scales. You'll drive the full design lifecycle: customer discovery (interviews, shadowing, usability testing), problem framing, systems-level design, and shipping with rapid iteration alongside PM and engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own design for Validate and Workspace management; improve speed and accuracy for ops users
- Lead the transition into Patient Hub ownership as it scales from GA to daily use
- Conduct discovery research and translate insights into design decisions
- Design scalable patterns for dense, multi-state operational workflows
- Iterate rapidly from concept to production; test, learn, and refine
- Extend Lasso (the design system) with new patterns and document them
- Communicate design rationale clearly to teams, executives, customers, and partners
- Prototype in Figma and code to validate feasibility and learn quickly
You'll work 4 days/week in the Hudson Square office (345 Hudson Street) and collaborate with a high-caliber team focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product design experience with strong craft on complex desktop web products
- Comfortable owning research directly and credible with customers
- Systems thinker with expertise in workflows, states, and patterns; strong product judgment
- Proven ability to ship, iterate, and make tradeoffs
- Design systems experience
- Technical fluency to collaborate on feasibility and prototype in code
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills; ownership mindset
- Genuine interest in improving healthcare operations
