Zip is an AI-powered enterprise procurement platform that helps companies orchestrate buying across teams, tools, and suppliers. The platform is used by leading enterprises including T-Mobile, OpenAI, AMD, Mars, and Dollar Tree, collectively processing over $500 billion in spend and generating $8 billion in savings. As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the design of customer-facing features across Zip's procurement product surface. You'll work alongside experienced designers, product managers, and engineers who prioritize craft and consumer-grade UX for complex enterprise workflows. You'll have direct access to users for research and testing, ensuring your designs are immediately validated and deployed. Key responsibilities include: - Designing product features from concept through launch - Partnering with engineers, PMs, and go-to-market teams to brainstorm, define, and implement new features - Conducting UX research and collaborating with customer-facing teams to develop thoughtful solutions - Iterating rapidly on designs based on user feedback - Participating in design reviews with the broader design team The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the Toronto office, with flexibility for 5 remote days per quarter. You'll join a tight-knit team that values open communication and cross-functional collaboration. QUALIFICATIONS: - 3–5+ years of professional design experience at a startup or resource-restricted organization, with a track record of shipping great designs at pace - Experience shipping at least one complete product or significant feature end-to-end as the lead designer - Demonstrated ability to iterate with engineers and cross-functional partners on both visual and UX design - Strong presentation, collaboration, and communication skills - Empathetic understanding of your work's audience and customers - Strong visual design skills balanced with usability - Understanding of technical constraints in web application development - Proficiency with AI tools in your design workflow (Claude, Figma Make, Cursor, or similar for rapid prototyping)
