HeyGen is hiring a Product Designer - Web to own the company's marketing surface end-to-end. This is a product design role focused on marketing sites—not brand or visual design—where you'll think in funnels, ship experiments, read data, and iterate.
You'll own HeyGen's entire marketing surface, from the homepage and product pages to pricing, campaign landing pages, and the signup/onboarding flow. You'll work directly with Growth, Marketing, and Web Engineering teams as a true product partner, helping decide what to test and why, not just how it looks.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end web design: concept through production-ready specs for all marketing pages
- Growth partnership: collaborate with Growth, Marketing, and Engineering to define testing strategy and success metrics
- Experimentation: design and ship A/B tests and landing page variants, form hypotheses, analyze results, and iterate
- Conversion and activation: improve top-of-funnel conversion and the transition into the product through signup and first-run experience
- Concept and storytelling: create high-quality exploratory work, hero moments, motion, and storytelling
- Mobile-first and responsive design: ensure both desktop and mobile are first-class experiences
- AI-assisted design: use Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent tools as a core part of your workflow to prototype in code and push designs to production quality
- Design systems: maintain and extend the site's design system to ship fast without eroding quality
HeyGen's mission is to make visual storytelling accessible to all. The marketing site is one of the highest-leverage growth surfaces, and you'll ship to a site with enough traffic that hypotheses get answered in days.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years designing and shipping modern software and web experiences (less acceptable if work is exceptional and you're hungry)
- Proven experience designing marketing sites in production that had to perform; clear understanding of the difference between a page that looks good and a page that converts
- Experience working as a product designer embedded with PMs and engineers, shipping features and living with consequences
- Proven track record designing for metrics-driven outcomes; fluent in A/B testing, conversion rate, activation, retention, and funnel analysis
- Strong visual design skills with insightful understanding of typography, layout, color, and motion; ability to take a blank canvas and bring a point of view
- Strong systems thinking; ability to build components and patterns rather than one-off pages
- Fluency in AI-assisted design; very comfortable with Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent; able to get production-grade output from these tools
- Mobile and responsive design as second nature
- Comfort with ambiguity, high velocity, and iterating in public
- Clear communication; ability to articulate design decisions and change your mind when data says otherwise
- Open-minded, self-driven, strong learner; constantly on the front edge of the industry
