Babylist is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to own analytics for Wishlists and Celebrations within the Core Registry product organization. This role focuses on occasion-based surfaces (birthdays, holidays, showers) and hosting tools that extend the Babylist relationship beyond the newborn phase. You will own end-to-end analytics across a multi-sided user model: registrants, hosts, gift givers, and partners. Key responsibilities include defining success metrics and building KPI frameworks from the ground up, leading instrumentation efforts to ensure reliable clickstream data, designing and analyzing experiments to drive list creation and repeat engagement, and quantifying how these surfaces extend customer lifetime value. The role requires mastery-level SQL applied to large-scale datasets (millions to billions of rows), deep expertise in event instrumentation and experimentation (statistical testing, A/B analysis across web and app), and the ability to connect user behavior to business outcomes. You will use modern tools including LaunchDarkly, Amplitude, dbt, and Hex/Sigma for visualization. A key differentiator is your demonstrated use of AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Devin) in your analytical workflow—not just curiosity, but active integration into your work to accelerate analysis, write code, and generate insights. You'll help define what AI-accelerated analytics looks like across the Data organization. As a senior individual contributor, you'll influence product strategy through rigorous analysis, operate independently in ambiguous problem spaces, and help raise the analytical bar across the broader Data team. You report directly to the Senior Manager of Product Analytics and will have full end-to-end ownership with no handoffs.
