Salary: USD 166,000 - 195,000 / annual
Robinhood is seeking a Senior Physical Security Operations Manager to lead global security operations across multiple countries and time zones. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the Director of Physical Security, based in Menlo Park, CA with in-person attendance required at least 5 days per week.
You will manage daily operations for an expanding international and domestic contracted physical security officer and emergency response force. Key responsibilities include drafting and implementing safety and protection policies for global operations; developing and delivering formal training programs for security officers covering standard operating procedures, incident response protocols, and communication plans; and working cross-functionally to establish security protocols for domestic and international office expansions.
Additional responsibilities encompass developing and implementing event security programs for large international marketing events, product launches, and internal employee events; conducting facility risk assessments and proposing risk-management actions; coordinating with cross-functional partners on security concerns and incident response; and serving as a key member of the Crisis Management Program supporting incident response and emergency action plans. You will deliver core security solutions and recommendations to support executives while maintaining the highest ethical standards and handling highly confidential information with discretion.
The role requires ability to travel between offices regionally and globally, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work autonomously, and navigate ambiguity. You will manage, coach, and retain talent while building and scaling operations in a high-growth, rapidly adapting environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience and success in a corporate security operations leadership role
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing security operations teams globally
- 7+ years of vendor management experience
- Experience planning, leading, and delivering advanced global protective strategies
- Experience with corporate security systems and operations
- Proven results leading security program automation and implementation
- Experience managing, coaching, and retaining talent
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and emotional intelligence
- Experience in change management, administration, and vendor management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and navigate ambiguity with ease
- Experience building and scaling operations in high-growth environments
