Tennr is a healthtech company solving a critical problem in the U.S. healthcare system: the manual, error-prone process of medical referrals. Using proprietary AI (RaeLM™), Tennr automates referral processing so specialists receive complete, accurate patient information on time, reducing denials and delays that currently plague the system.
You will own core people operations as the company scales. This is a hands-on role where you'll design and execute the employee lifecycle—from onboarding and offboarding to role changes and internal mobility. You'll ensure every new hire has a world-class experience that sets them up for immediate impact. You'll manage HR systems and data (HRIS, benefits platforms) with meticulous attention to accuracy and compliance. As processes mature, you'll document, refine, and automate workflows to keep pace with growth.
You'll be a trusted partner to leadership on performance cycles, feedback processes, and employee development. You'll collaborate with finance on compensation and equity administration, maintain benefits programs (healthcare, 401(k) matching, PTO), and serve as a knowledgeable resource for employees. You'll ensure the company stays compliant with employment law while keeping things pragmatic and human-centered. You'll also champion culture initiatives that reinforce company values and strengthen in-office collaboration, analyze people data to surface insights for better decision-making, and handle employee relations with discretion and strong judgment.
Tennr values speed and impact—one core value is "Cowboy," meaning you set the pace and get things done. You'll work in a high-caliber team focused on reducing patient delays across U.S. healthcare. The role is based in Hudson Square (345 Hudson Street) with an expectation of 4 days/week in-office.
