Kabam, a world leader in multiplayer game development (Marvel Contest of Champions, Shop Titans), is seeking a Senior People Business Partner based in Vancouver to serve as a strategic HR leader. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and key stakeholders, proactively identifying and supporting business needs through data-driven, human-centered approaches. You will drive strategic workforce planning, bridging business strategy with organizational design, headcount planning, and financial forecasting. You'll lead organizational transformation initiatives using change management best practices and demonstrate leadership across performance management, talent assessment, succession planning, and employee engagement. You will develop people managers through coaching on leadership effectiveness and career development to build a high-performance culture. You'll collaborate with the people and talent acquisition teams to initiate and execute program improvements with change management in mind, and shape organizational culture and capability. As a trusted advisor on employee relations, you will guide day-to-day ER matters and handle complex, high-risk employment issues across Canada and the US. You'll lead investigations into conduct violations, ensure compliance with employment law for terminations, and assess legal exposure. You will lead or contribute to company-wide programs such as salary reviews, strategic workforce planning, and organizational change initiatives. You'll mentor and coach People Team members, providing mentorship and executive coaching to senior leaders, and build leadership capabilities across the organization. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Commerce, Psychology, or completion of a professional HR development program - Further education in conflict management, coaching, or change management - PHR/SPHR/CPHR certification or equivalent industry credentials - Certified Coach credential - 8+ years of HR experience in a project-based, creative culture - 3+ years of People Business Partnership experience - Experience with organizational cultural and business transformation - Experience forging strong partnerships with executive leaders to shape People Strategy aligned with business strategy - Experience working with employees across multiple sites - Experience in change management and leading organizational initiatives - Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law (US employment law is an asset) - Clear, confident communicator who can flex across all organizational levels
