Airwallex is a unified payments and financial platform serving over 250,000 global businesses. As Senior Partnerships Manager for Spain, you will lead the development of Airwallex's partnerships ecosystem in the Spanish market, with a primary focus on DAFs (Donor-Advised Funds), fractional CFOs, accounting firms, accountants, and tax advisors. Your core responsibilities include identifying and building strategic relationships with financial advisors who support Spanish SMEs and growth companies. You will develop a scalable partner programme encompassing partner segmentation, value propositions, engagement models, referral processes, enablement, and performance tracking. You'll manage a portfolio of strategic and referral partners from initial engagement through activation and long-term development, working to generate qualified opportunities and support Airwallex's customer growth in Spain. Key activities include creating joint go-to-market initiatives, educational content, webinars, and events with partners; equipping partners with knowledge and tools to recommend Airwallex; and collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Product, and Customer Success teams. You will track partner performance metrics, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact, using data to continuously improve the programme. You'll also represent Airwallex at relevant finance, accounting, fintech, and business events. The role requires 6+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, channel sales, advisory, accounting, or finance in high-growth environments. You should have demonstrable experience building relationships with DAFs, CFOs, accountants, and professional service providers, with strong commercial instincts and a track record of meeting OKRs and KPIs. Understanding of Spanish SME challenges around international payments, FX, cash flow, and financial operations is essential. You must be comfortable with data, spreadsheets, G-Suite, and Looker, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Native or fluent Spanish and fluent English are required. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the Barcelona office.
