Addi is a leading fintech platform in Colombia, serving over 2 million customers and 20,000+ merchants as the country's fastest-growing marketplace. The company provides banking solutions (deposits, payments, unsecured credit) and commerce services, recently achieving profitability and securing regulatory approval to operate as a bank. Backed by top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Goldman Sachs, and Union Square Ventures, Addi is transforming Latin America's financial ecosystem. As Senior AML Monitoring Analyst, you will strengthen Addi's transaction monitoring framework to detect, investigate, and report suspicious activities in compliance with AML and regulatory requirements. Your core responsibilities include analyzing transactional data to identify money laundering patterns, developing and refining monitoring rules to reduce false positives, and leveraging SQL and database management to extract data for case analysis and reporting. You will escalate complex investigations to the Compliance Officer, ensure reporting meets SAGRILAFT and SARLAFT regulations, and maintain detailed case documentation for audit readiness. The role emphasizes optimization: identifying automation opportunities, using data mining to detect emerging risks, collaborating with engineering teams to implement scalable solutions, and designing dashboards for key metrics. Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll work with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Legal teams to embed AML requirements into workflows and support compliance initiatives with regulatory insights and process improvements. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. Minimum 3+ years in transaction monitoring, financial crime investigations, or compliance within fintech, banking, or regulated financial institutions. Strong understanding of SAGRILAFT/SARLAFT frameworks. Proven data analytics skills with large datasets, pattern recognition ability, and track record optimizing alert detection, thresholds, and risk scoring models. Experience conducting in-depth AML investigations, assessing risk exposure, identifying red flags, and preparing escalation reports. Strong collaboration and communication skills for internal reporting and cross-team engagement.
