Salary: USD 180,000 - 225,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Modeling and Simulation Analyst to support the development and deployment of advanced defense technologies. In this role, you will serve as a Mission Engineering Operations Analyst, providing rigorous, data-driven analytical products that guide business strategy, inform requirements, and investigate concepts of employment for air dominance and strike systems.
You will engage directly with internal and external stakeholders to translate complex questions into physics-based analyses, often designing experiments using mission-level simulations. Working with Anduril's advanced internal modeling and simulation capabilities, you will develop model-driven analyses that give the company a competitive advantage. Your work will employ the scientific method to generate clear, compelling analytical artifacts with actionable conclusions.
Key responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of Anduril's transformational platform, autonomy, simulation, and perception products; using advanced M&S capabilities to support analyses; and translating complex technical findings into clear summaries for both internal program teams and external customers through exceptional written and verbal communication.
Required qualifications: 8+ years in a relevant science or engineering field; current active U.S. Secret security clearance (maintainable); proficiency in modeling and scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, Simulink); demonstrated experience in platform M&S (aero, fuel, signature modeling) and payload M&S (radar, EOIR, communications, weapons); exceptional communication and presentation skills; working knowledge of domains such as OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, electronic attack, or long-range fires.
Preferred qualifications include ability to obtain Top Secret clearance; 2+ years AFSIM scripting experience; demonstrated ability to lead operations analysis studies from concept to completion; signal processing experience (track fusion, filtering); and RF propagation modeling experience (communications, radar, EW).
