Salary: CAD 199,000 - 244,000 / annual

We seek a Senior iOS Engineer to lead the development and scaling of product experiences on our mobile platform. You will drive complex feature development, architect mobile infrastructure for scalability and performance, and ensure exceptional user experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive development and implementation of complex product features impacting customer experience and business outcomes
- Architect and optimize mobile infrastructure for scalability, performance, and reliability supporting strategic growth
- Lead collaborative efforts with backend engineers to define and evolve robust, well-documented APIs
- Champion engineering best practices across teams, raising standards for code quality and system design
- Identify and drive strategic technical initiatives with clear vision and architectural guidance
- Architect and oversee comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, UI automation)
- Define and analyze KPIs using advanced analytics to measure feature effectiveness and drive data-informed decisions
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience with significant focus on mobile development and track record leading complex projects
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift with deep expertise in modern iOS paradigms (Combine, Swift Concurrency, SwiftUI)
- Extensive understanding of iOS application architectures (MVVM, MVP, VIPER) and their trade-offs
- Proven ability to architect scalable and maintainable mobile solutions
- Experience mentoring and guiding other engineers
Desirable qualifications include Android development experience, cross-platform technologies, active participation in iOS development community (open-source, conferences), and experience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, LLMs).
The role is hybrid from our Vancouver office with two days per week in-office required, though remote arrangements within Canada are possible. Compensation includes salary, equity, healthcare, internet/cell phone reimbursement, learning and development stipend, and potential travel opportunities to Mountain View headquarters.
