Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform enabling organizations in physical operations—agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing—to harness IoT data for actionable insights and operational improvement.
You will join the Marketing Analytics team as a Senior Marketing Analytics Manager, bridging Data Engineering and Marketing Analytics. This is a highly technical role for someone comfortable wearing both data engineering and analytics hats, designing scalable backends and delivering actionable insights.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the bridge between Data Engineering and Marketing Analytics, designing, building, and maintaining robust ETL pipelines and "Gold Layer" tables in Databricks
- Develop and document semantic layers, data dictionaries, and markdown files designed to train and enable AI agents for scalable, self-serve BI
- Develop dashboards and analyses to surface business-critical KPIs and assess sales and marketing performance
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and deep dives to uncover key insights across programs and initiatives to inform strategy and decision-making
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable data models and analytics-ready datasets

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or related analytical field
- 5+ years of relevant analytics, business intelligence, AI, or data engineering experience
- Expert-level SQL, Python, DBT, and visualization platform skills (Tableau preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar lakehouse architectures for transforming and modeling large datasets
- Experience building data backends, semantic layers, and structured documentation optimized for AI ingestion and agentic workflows
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
