Duolingo is seeking a Senior Marketing Analytics Manager to join its growing marketing organization in New York. The role focuses on building the analytical foundations for measuring and optimizing the company's global performance marketing campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating data-driven insights about the impact of global performance marketing campaigns
- Developing new approaches to grow the user base through data-driven marketing optimization
- Partnering with the data science team to understand new user cohorts and behaviors
- Acting as a thought partner in defining marketing KPIs and tracking progress against target metrics
- Consolidating data from multiple sources to answer strategic marketing questions
- Collaborating with marketing tech to influence backend data design, build dashboards using Tableau or similar tools, and extract actionable insights
- Bridging the gap between analytics and marketing teams, translating between technical and business languages
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related STEM field
- Experience as a marketing analyst working with digital campaign data and using analytics to inform strategic decisions
- Strong ability to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable takeaways
- Expert-level SQL skills for extracting, cleaning, and transforming data in large, complex databases
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Data Studio, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and analytical mindset
- Ability to work in the New York office
Desirable qualifications include hands-on experience running and optimizing digital app install campaigns, expertise in R, Python, or other statistical software, and familiarity with Duolingo's product.
