ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead product development activities in Hyderabad. In this role, you will manage a high-performing engineering team, oversee daily development activities, and collaborate with product management, design, support, and other development teams to create high-quality solutions. You will be responsible for managing departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and building a best-of-class engineering organization. The role involves solving difficult and sometimes ambiguous technical problems while providing direction, delegating assignments, and supporting your team to accomplish objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of experience with technologies relevant to ServiceNow and advanced coding skills with high-quality results
- Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact)
- Experience managing employees who require little oversight in completing assigned work
- Experience providing direction, delegating assignments, and supporting teams to accomplish tasks
- Experience with open source tools and agile development environments
- Fluency in one or more relevant programming languages (Java, C++, JavaScript)
- Ability to understand broad concepts and use those concepts to understand and develop solutions for problems
- Experience completing projects based on company priorities, context, risks, and desired outcomes
- Ability to understand and implement best practices and coding standards for role-specific requirements (programming languages, tools, network design, functional design, algorithms, patterns, design and development, etc.)
