Kaseya is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead the development of enterprise SaaS products and platform services. This role combines engineering leadership with hands-on technical ownership, requiring active participation in architecture discussions, technical planning, and engineering execution.
You will lead and develop software engineering teams responsible for enterprise SaaS products and platform services. Key responsibilities include driving technical execution and delivery of roadmap initiatives across cloud-based and distributed systems, participating in architecture reviews and technical design discussions, and partnering with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business requirements into technical delivery plans.
You will drive engineering best practices across CI/CD, automated testing, observability, security, and operational readiness. This includes reviewing technical designs and providing guidance on scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance. You'll support production operations, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring engineers and technical leads to foster a culture of accountability and engineering excellence.
Required qualifications include 8+ years of software engineering experience building SaaS applications, distributed systems, or cloud-based services, and 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams. You must have experience participating in architecture reviews and technical design discussions for production systems, delivering software using Agile methodologies with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, and supporting production systems including operational readiness and incident response.
Preferred qualifications include experience with enterprise technologies (Java, C#, .NET, SQL), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), large-scale SaaS products, technical initiatives involving scalability and modernization, mentoring senior engineers, and security/compliance initiatives. Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
