Zscaler is seeking a Senior Manager of Sales Engineering for the Majors West region to lead and grow the sales engineering organization across the western United States. Reporting to the Director of Sales Engineering, you will oversee a team responsible for the core portfolio and Gen AI market solutions, working closely with GTM Sales Leaders, Product Management, and Engineering to execute strategic solutions and close deals.
Key responsibilities include recruiting, mentoring, and developing the sales engineering team; refining and scaling core sales engineering processes including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept; partnering with sales leadership and clients to design and present business solutions that drive revenue growth; and promoting the Zscaler portfolio through value-based selling in a matrixed environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience), proven track record managing and directing a sales engineering team, demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching talent, technical expertise in cybersecurity and networking, and ability to communicate value-based selling in a matrixed GTM environment. Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools to enhance workflows is essential.
