Salary: USD 175,875 - 251,250 / annual
Zscaler is seeking a Senior Manager of Sales Engineering to lead the South Majors segment across the Southeast region (Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina). This is a remote leadership role reporting to the Director of Sales Engineering in the Americas Field Sales organization.
You will manage and develop a high-performing sales engineering team that partners closely with field Account Executives to solve complex enterprise cybersecurity challenges. Your responsibilities include hiring and developing team members, refining critical sales engineering processes (discovery, technical qualification, proof-of-concept), delivering impactful product and solution demonstrations tailored to enterprise needs, and providing strategic guidance on RFPs with clear business recommendations.

Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience); 10+ years in sales engineering or systems engineering; 5+ years directly managing and leading a sales engineering team; demonstrated experience selling network security technologies in enterprise environments; demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools to enhance workflows.
Preferred: Track record as a subject matter expert in regional industry events and professional organizations; deep experience managing technical sales cycles for major enterprise accounts.
The role offers competitive compensation with base salary $175,875–$251,250 USD, plus commission, bonus, and equity (if applicable), along with comprehensive benefits.
