New Relic is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Partner Sales to lead the AMER (North America and LATAM) channel business. This is a people-management role where you will build and lead a team of partner sales hunters, working directly with Account Executives and channel partners (VARs, GSIs, regional specialists, and MSPs) to drive partner-sourced revenue growth.
You will own primary accountability for Partner Sourced Annual Contract Revenue (ACR) across North America and LATAM, ensuring the channel becomes a consistent and predictable revenue contributor. Key responsibilities include: orchestrating deals from discovery to close by personally supporting your team and direct sales organization; coaching your team on deal mechanics, partner positioning, and cross-functional alignment; building a "one-team" culture between Channel and Direct Sales organizations; leveraging your existing network in the observability space to elevate partner relationships and drive executive commitment; and operating effectively in an evolving environment where you build systems while executing against targets.
Success is measured by: achievement of regional gross ACR targets sourced by partners; measurable improvement in Stage 2 to Closed-Won conversion rates for partner-led deals; percentage of direct reports hitting or exceeding sourced-revenue targets; and increasing Partner Attachment Rate across all AMER sales territories.
This is a hands-on, "in-the-trenches" role requiring a battle-tested leader who thrives in ambiguity and can turn it into execution. You will spend significant time coaching and mentoring rather than managing from a distance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive AMER network with executive relationships across top North American and LATAM VARs, system integrators, and regional partners
- Proven track record as a "deal maker" with personal success helping sales teams close deals through the channel
- Demonstrated resilience and agility in building within environments under construction; ability to navigate internal ambiguity to deliver external results
- Deep, mandatory experience in Observability, APM, or Log Management space; understanding of technical and business value drivers in this specific market
- Nice to have: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese for LATAM component
Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
