Life360 is a category-leading family safety and connection platform serving approximately 102.4 million monthly active users across more than 180 countries. The company offers location sharing, safe driver reports, crash detection with emergency dispatch, Tile tracking devices, and Pet GPS trackers. Life360 operates as a remote-first organization with over 500 employees and is building an AI-native company where AI is integral to operations.
You will join a deliberately lean Strategy & Corporate Development team, reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Development and collaborating with senior leaders across the company. This role shapes Life360's next stage of growth, including decisions on international market expansion, new business adjacencies, and M&A strategy.
In your first year, you will deliver two strategic analyses that earn executive support, identifying and recommending acquisition candidates (one international, one adjacent), build AI agents that help the team move faster (tracking targets and running repeatable analysis), and own key analytical workstreams on live acquisitions and strategic investments including market sizing, operating models, valuations, and diligence analysis.
You will frame strategic questions, build financial models, make recommendations, and stay with the work as it moves into live deals. You'll partner with finance, legal, and product teams while maintaining a light, fast-moving approach. The role has room to grow and expanding scope as you earn the trust of senior leadership.
Life360 is AI-native and expects employees to leverage AI tools throughout their work. The company values direct communication, member-first thinking, high intensity and impact, and integrity.
REQUIREMENTS (Must-Haves):
- Drive ambiguous problems to clear recommendations; define outputs, set timelines, bring in stakeholders, and follow through independently
- Design and deploy AI agents into real workflows using tools such as Claude, Claude Code, MCP connectors, or comparable frameworks; direct AI to improve speed and quality of thinking while rigorously checking its work
- Build financial models and valuations from first principles; pressure-test assumptions and defend every number
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally; welcome hard questions and build credibility with senior stakeholders
- Approximately 5–8 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, or strategy at a high-growth technology company
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience with B2C subscription or consumer technology businesses
- Hands-on M&A diligence or integration work
- Comfort with SQL or BI tools
