Dataiku is the Platform for AI Success, an enterprise orchestration layer for building, deploying, and governing AI. The Growth team drives pipeline generation globally through paid media, content syndication, ABM, and marketing operations. You will build and own the lifecycle marketing function end-to-end, reporting to the VP of Digital & Growth. Currently, lifecycle and nurture responsibilities are scattered across teams with no single owner, no unified calendar, and no visibility into what prospects and customers receive, in what order, or how often. Your mandate is to establish this function from the ground up: strategy, systems, programs, and team. Key responsibilities include: **Lifecycle Operating System**: Create one authoritative email and lifecycle calendar across prospect, new-user, and customer programs. Establish frequency governance, suppression logic, and deliverability standards. Define segmentation and audience standards with web and marketing ops teams. Set launch standards for lifecycle programs (entry criteria, success metrics, exit criteria). **Prospect and New-User Nurture**: Own onboarding and activation sequences that move first touches to sales-ready accounts. Build account progression communication programs. Design nurture around named-account cohorts integrated with campaign work. Provide BDRs visibility into what leads have already received. **Customer Lifecycle, Retention, and Expansion**: Partner with Customer Success and Product on programmatic customer nurture (adoption, education, post-deployment engagement). Build retention and expansion programs based on account signals rather than calendar cadence. **Automation, Data, and Measurement**: Own the lifecycle layer of the marketing automation stack (HubSpot workflows, Salesforce integration, 6sense intent and account data). Consolidate existing nurture workflows into documented, maintained systems. Build reporting on lifecycle contribution (engagement progression, influenced pipeline, retention, expansion). Ensure data quality (deliverability, consent, record hygiene). **AI and Agentic Workflows**: Integrate lifecycle work into agentic workflows (audience assembly, copy variation, program QA, performance summaries). Establish standards for well-built lifecycle agents and human-in-the-loop requirements. **Building the Function**: Lead a function that doesn't exist yet, building the team as it develops. Align the broader organization (Web, Content, Acquisition, Field, Marketing Ops, Sales, Customer Success) around your vision. You will work across a global organization and cross-functional teams, establishing visibility and governance where none exists today. **Requirements:** - 6+ years in lifecycle, nurture, email, or growth marketing in B2B, ideally enterprise software with long, multi-threaded buying cycles - Hands-on marketing automation depth: built and owned complex nurture programs; HubSpot or Marketo expertise; Salesforce fluency; strong understanding of underlying data models - Command of deliverability, frequency capping, suppression, consent, and list hygiene - Experience on both sides of lifecycle (prospect and customer); if background covers only one, must articulate approach to the other - Fluency with intent and account data (6sense, Demandbase, or similar); understanding of where such data should drive program entry, not just reporting - Comfort building with AI (expected, not optional); already using LLMs in own work; clear view on where they belong in lifecycle and where human oversight is required - Strong analytical skills: define metrics, instrument them, defend them, and acknowledge when current numbers aren't reliable - Comfort with ambiguity and build roles; ability to establish function through influence before having a team; direct conversations about tradeoffs - Experience working across regions in global organizations - Excellent written English; other languages welcome but not required
