Coinbase is seeking a Senior Manager, Institutional Sales to lead derivatives growth across the UAE, MENA, and Europe regions. In this role, you will own Coinbase's derivatives business expansion by building and scaling high-touch relationships with professional traders and institutional clients. You'll define and execute regional sales strategy, lead market-entry efforts, and serve as Coinbase's senior market ambassador in one of crypto's fastest-growing regions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and growing a network of professional traders in UAE, MENA, and Europe, driving revenue through relationship-led acquisition, onboarding, and account management
- Designing and executing long-term sales strategy for the regions, setting targets for market penetration, volume growth, and client expansion
- Leading regional market-entry and expansion efforts, including navigating local regulatory landscapes and adapting Coinbase's derivatives offerings (perpetual futures, options, RWA products) to meet regional compliance and market demands
- Cross-functional partnership with Product, Risk, and Compliance teams to localize offerings
- Representing Coinbase at client meetings, industry events, and conferences across the region
- Building and optimizing sales processes, CRM workflows, and support structures to scale the business
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years in derivatives sales, trading, or structuring (crypto, FX, rates, or equities) with direct P&L responsibility and proven track record of independently sourcing and closing high-profile clients
- Deep knowledge of UAE, MENA, and European crypto regulatory and market environments with demonstrated experience defining and executing multi-year regional growth strategies
- Expertise in perpetual futures, futures, and options with existing relationships across prosumer/advanced retail clients in the region
- Proven experience working with active and prosumer traders (high-value retail, professional day traders, social/desktop trading communities), ideally on derivatives platforms
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region for client meetings and events
- Responsible use of generative AI to improve workflow efficiency and business outcomes
