Brex is seeking a Senior Manager, GTM AI Engineer to lead the evolution of AI applications across the go-to-market organization. This is a net-new, high-impact role focused on transforming ad-hoc AI experiments into a governed, production-grade capability for Sales, Revenue Operations, and Enablement teams. You will own the internal sales enablement AI roadmap, setting priorities for how Brex builds AI applications across the enablement lifecycle—certification, onboarding, content, coaching, and ramp. You'll make strategic build-vs-buy decisions, evaluating when to leverage third-party vendors (Gong, Itero, Highspot) versus building in-house on Brex's AI stack (Claude, etc.). This is a hybrid role combining strategist, engineer, and embedded partner responsibilities. You'll personally write, review, and ship production code—not hand off specs to engineering teams. You'll develop AI tooling for GTM representatives, understand the sales domain deeply enough to identify where AI creates real leverage, and drive adoption across the organization. Key responsibilities include: setting the AI roadmap and prioritization framework; building and standardizing GTM's AI tooling stack; making informed build-vs-buy decisions; and going deep on sales domain knowledge to understand pipeline stages, CRM workflows, quota mechanics, and what constitutes good performance. You'll work across Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Engineering as a lynchpin, operating with high autonomy and ambiguity. Success requires a bias toward governance and simplicity—preferring three trusted tools over fifteen overlapping ones. The role is based in one of Brex's five hubs (San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Salt Lake City, or Vancouver) with a hybrid model requiring a minimum of three coordinated days in-office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work is available.
