Tripadvisor's Viator division seeks a Senior Manager of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and cost governance for the Experiences business globally. This is a people-leadership role: you will own the planning and forecasting function, manage approval processes for procurement and headcount, and hire and mentor the first dedicated analyst on your team.
You'll partner with cross-functional leaders across Engineering, Product, Data, Marketing, Customer Care, Payments, and Supply to deliver clear financial views, lead recurring business reviews, and shape C-suite resource decisions. Key responsibilities include owning annual planning and the regular forecast cycle for fixed costs and global headcount; managing the approval process for procurement, vendor, and headcount requisitions; keeping headcount and spend data clean across systems; and replacing manual reporting with self-serve dashboards and automation.
The finance function is being reshaped by AI and automation. You'll lead this modernization by building data infrastructure, using tools like BigQuery and Python, and leveraging AI to reduce manual effort so the team can focus on strategic partnering and growth.
Required: 7+ years in FP&A or strategic finance with strong financial modeling skills and ideally ownership of large cost and headcount budgets in tech or e-commerce. Hands-on experience with financial planning systems (Workday Financial Planning, Hyperion/Essbase), working SQL, and comfort with modern data tools. You should have a track record of turning messy, manual processes into simple, automated ones, and demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency and decision-making. Nice to have: marketplace context, including two-sided marketplace dynamics or multi-currency impacts.
