Salary: USD 120,000 - 145,000 / annual
Starface, a direct-to-consumer cosmetics brand founded in 2019 known for innovative hydrocolloid pimple patches and limited-edition collaborations, is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling as the company scales. Reporting to the SVP of Finance, you will own key FP&A processes and strengthen financial forecasting and reporting across the organization.
Key responsibilities include: managing the budgeting process and rolling forecasts in partnership with cross-functional teams; owning budget-to-actual reporting and variance analysis to identify performance drivers; maintaining and evolving financial models for scenario analysis and strategic planning; building robust Finance touchpoints across the business to strengthen planning rigor; deepening Finance's integration within the S&OP process; supporting management reporting and month-end close activities; identifying opportunities to automate FP&A processes and reporting in NetSuite; and bringing commercial finance perspective to key business decisions around retail vs. DTC economics, promotional ROI, and product profitability.
You should have 5-7+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or related experience with strong financial modeling and forecasting skills. The ideal candidate is analytical, metrics-driven, highly collaborative, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll navigate complex financial and operational drivers, translate data into actionable insights, and influence cross-functional decision-making. Experience in investment banking, private equity, or an MBA is a plus. The role offers a competitive base salary of $120-145k depending on experience, bonus eligibility, comprehensive health benefits, 401k with 5% match, 4 weeks vacation plus 20 paid holidays, 12 weeks paid parental leave, and home office stipend.
