Scopely is seeking a Technology Internal Audit Senior to expand its Internal Audit function in Culver City, California. This role reports to the Director of Technology Internal Audit and focuses on evaluating the technology, security, and AI environment supporting Scopely's games and platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Lead execution of technology-focused operational audits, including walkthroughs with engineering and platform teams, risk and control evaluation, and comprehensive documentation of findings - Evaluate cloud controls across AWS/GCP environments, including identity and access management, network configurations, logging, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code practices - Assess CI/CD pipeline controls and identify key control and risk points in modern continuous delivery environments - Perform security domain audits covering vulnerability management, patch management, endpoint security, incident response, backup/disaster recovery, and third-party risk - Analyze root causes of control deficiencies and propose pragmatic, technology-driven remediation strategies - Leverage AI tools and advanced analytics to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness across the audit lifecycle - Collaborate with Technology, Security, AI, Infrastructure, and other stakeholder functions to understand workflows and verify effective risk management - Prepare clear, comprehensive workpapers and audit reports for senior leadership - Stay current with gaming industry trends, regulatory changes, and audit technology advancements Required Qualifications: - Minimum 4 years of progressive professional experience in technology audit, technology risk, or security assurance (Big 4 or in-house technology audit preferred) - Foundational understanding of Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS) and governance frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO27001) - Practical familiarity with AWS and/or GCP, including associated risks and controls - Understanding of modern software development practices: version control, code review, automated testing, deployment pipelines - Experience auditing controls in engineering-driven organizations where development teams own significant control responsibilities - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field - Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences - Ability to work collaboratively across international teams and time zones - Problem-solver mindset with strong attention to detail and comfort in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments Desirable Qualifications: - Experience in gaming or entertainment/technology sectors - Professional certifications (CISA, CPA) or demonstrated interest in obtaining one - Ability to work with data using SQL, Python, or similar languages
