Salary: USD 195,000 - 235,000 / annual

Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building energy-efficient solutions to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates the full stack from electrons to tokens, addressing the critical bottleneck of power in AI compute. This Senior Manager role owns headcount and operating expense (OpEx) finance across the entire company, serving as the single source of truth for workforce planning and non-capital spending. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and actuals reporting that keeps leadership and the business aligned. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the headcount plan and forecast across the company, partnering with People, Recruiting, and department leaders to track open requisitions, hiring pace, and attrition against plan - Leading the annual budgeting and in-year OpEx forecasting process across departments, working with budget owners to build defensible, well-documented plans - Owning monthly and quarterly actuals reporting for headcount and OpEx, identifying variances to plan and driving root cause analysis and corrective action - Maintaining rolling headcount and OpEx forecasts, updating for approved changes and business decisions - Serving as the go-to finance contact for department leaders on headcount and OpEx questions, helping them understand budgets and make informed trade-offs - Partnering with HR on benefit initiatives and with Marketing and other leaders on OpEx budgets and ROI analysis - Improving tools and processes to reduce manual reconciliation and increase stakeholder visibility - Preparing clear, accurate headcount and OpEx reporting packages for executive leadership and the board You will need 6+ years of progressive finance experience with meaningful ownership of headcount and/or OpEx planning and reporting. Strong financial modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with planning tools (Anaplan, Adaptive, Workday, or similar) are essential. You should have a demonstrated ability to partner with People/Recruiting teams, own budgeting and actuals processes end-to-end, and communicate clearly to non-finance stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required; an MBA is a plus. This is a highly visible role for someone who wants to bring structure and rigor to how a scaling company manages its people and operating costs.
