Shield AI, a venture-backed defense-tech company, is seeking a Senior Manager of International Facilities Operations to lead facility operations across a rapidly expanding portfolio of non-U.S. sites. The role is accountable for the performance of international facilities after project turnover, including regional and site operations, maintenance and asset reliability, workplace services, vendor delivery, budgets, customer experience, and operational risk management.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring the successful candidate to establish clear regional accountability structures, standardize service delivery across multiple locations while maintaining local responsiveness, develop internal talent, and build strong operating partnerships with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Product, IT, Environment Health & Safety, Security, Real Estate, Capital Delivery, Finance, and Procurement.
The ideal leader will be equally comfortable presenting in executive reviews, working on manufacturing floors, and responding to facility incidents. The role demands a strategic mindset combined with operational excellence and the ability to drive consistency across geographically dispersed international operations while respecting regional nuances. Shield AI's technology actively supports defense operations worldwide, and this facilities leadership role is critical to enabling that mission across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions.
