You will join the Risk/Credit team as Senior Manager, Data Strategy & Analytics, serving as a strategic analytics partner across the organization. Your primary responsibility is translating complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making across Credit, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Finance functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and automate analytical workflows using Python and/or R with GitHub version control
- Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports providing visibility into key business metrics
- Partner with Data Engineering to build and refine data workflows in Databricks
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer strategic business questions with clear recommendations for leadership
- Monitor data quality and proactively identify anomalies in key metrics
- Develop and document analytical methodologies, continuously optimizing processes for efficiency and scalability
Required qualifications include 7+ years in business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields (preferably fintech/financial services). You need strong SQL skills with cloud data warehouse experience (Snowflake), proficiency in Tableau or similar visualization tools, working knowledge of Python and/or R, familiarity with Databricks/Spark, Git/GitHub experience, and excellent communication skills for translating complex analyses to diverse audiences.
Bonus qualifications include consumer lending or credit risk modeling experience, passion for AI/generative AI in analytics, familiarity with dbt or modern analytics engineering, machine learning/predictive modeling exposure, knowledge of financial services regulations (fair lending, FCRA), and experience presenting to executive leadership.
