Babylist is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Analytics for Ecommerce, Health & Supply Chain to lead a team of 5 experienced analysts and data scientists while maintaining hands-on involvement in high-impact analytical work. This role bridges eCommerce, supply chain, and health functions, partnering directly with senior business leaders and the executive team to drive strategic decisions through advanced analytics.
You will own a meaningful book of analysis across these domains while leading team prioritization, coaching, and goal-setting. Key responsibilities include defining KPI and reporting standards, advancing an AI-native analytics roadmap with self-serve tools, and creating a culture where analytics is viewed as a strategic partner across the organization. You'll translate business priorities into a clear analytics roadmap, weighing tradeoffs and making strong recommendations on team capacity allocation.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of data analytics experience, with at least 5 years in a manager-level role, ideally in high-growth consumer technology or e-commerce. You have deep fluency in eCommerce and retail analytics KPIs (AOV, unit economics, instock rates, fulfillment costs), proven ability to balance people management with hands-on IC work, and experience managing experienced analysts. You're confident partnering with VP+ stakeholders, shaping priorities proactively, and staying hands-on with AI-native analytics infrastructure including semantic layers and AI-connected reporting.
You prioritize progress over perfection, scale rigor to what's at stake, and naturally reach for AI in your work. Strong ownership, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail balanced with big-picture thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are essential. You'll have exposure to the executive team and the opportunity to influence company strategy while working with a team that's already delivering strong results.
